St Joseph's Kindergarten & OSHC, North Ward

St Joseph’s Kindergarten and Outside School Hours Care is located in the picturesque Townsville suburb of North Ward, nestled near The Strand and within the heart of the St Joseph’s Catholic School community.

Our service provides a welcoming and supportive environment for children from their Kindergarten year through to their primary school years, creating a strong sense of connection, belonging and community.

St Joseph’s offers a long day care Kindergarten program, providing families with the flexibility of extended care alongside a Queensland Government-approved Kindergarten program. Our Kindergarten program is delivered by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher during school terms, with care available before and after Kindergarten program hours and throughout school holiday periods.

For school-aged children, our Outside School Hours Care program offers before school, after school and vacation care in a familiar and engaging environment.

Being located on the St Joseph’s Catholic School campus provides children with valuable opportunities to build friendships, become familiar with the school environment and participate in school and parish celebrations and events. This connection also supports a positive and confident transition from Kindergarten into Prep and the primary school years.

Our friendly and dedicated team is passionate about providing engaging, play-based learning and care experiences that recognise the individuality of every child. Guided by our Catholic values, we create an environment where children feel safe, supported and encouraged to learn, explore, build relationships and develop confidence.

At St Joseph’s Kindy and OSHC, we value each child’s unique journey and work in partnership with families to provide continuity of care, learning and connection throughout their early and primary school years.
