The Marian OSHC is a care facility nestled in the heart of the Currajong region. Providing exceptional outside of school hours care, Marian OSHC is situated on the main road leading into the CBD.

We operate our care centre out of the first classroom built for the Christian Brothers College, constructed back in 1952. We are very proud to have access to a beautiful, charming and historical setting and regularly integrate our facility's bloodlines into our sessions.

Marian OSHC offers a large, open and airy centre with an abundance of character and charm. The indoor spaces are interactive, engaging, and surrounded by an undercover hall, basketball courts, a sandpit, green ovals, and beautiful gardens. The Marian OSHC offers a secure, sun-smart and adventurous space that encourages a child's naturally inquisitive and explorative nature.

Exceptional Outside of School Hours Care

With a capped capacity of 150 children, our educators are passionate about delivering quality care to each and every single child. We endeavour to provide fun, supportive experiences that are built on nurturing the individuality of each child's interests.

The Marian OSHC centre is built on strong relationships with the school, the community and the local Parish. We celebrate the Catholic faith through prayer and activities, promoting kindness, compassion and empathy in every session with the children. We offer complete outside school hours care, before school hours care and vacation care. We also provide care for children on pupil free days.

Hear all about our facility from Our Service Leader, Lynda Pritchard

How long have you worked in early childhood and/or education and care?

I have been privileged to work in the early education and care sector for 31 years.

Why were you drawn to become an educator in early childhood/OSHC?

I was drawn to becoming an early educator by the sense of making a difference through fun, engaging and educational activities for children. At its core, providing a caring, supportive and safe environment for all children is what really matters to me.

What is your favourite thing about being a service leader/teacher (Director/Coordinator)?

My favourite aspect of my position in our centre is leading a team that is passionate about providing the care that you know all children have the right to.

What is the best thing about your centre/kindergarten/OSHC?

The best thing about our centre is hearing the children's laughter! I love knowing that we, as a team, have helped children feel safe, happy and supported in a positive learning environment.

What is one thing that you tell all families?

Speaking to each family, we always make sure to tell each parent that their children will always matter, they will always be supported, and they will always be respected. Sending your child to Currajong OSHC, the interests of your children are and will always be the foundation of our program.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

In my spare time I love spending time with my family, and I enjoy walking.
