Offering an extension of the school day, our care facility caters to after school care and vacation care requirements for busy families in the area.

We provide a safe and nurturing environment for each of the children to learn, grow, and socialise within our care. Our care is built on an environment that fosters active learning and development of the whole child. We acknowledge and respect children as unique individuals and begin each session by understanding how they would like to spend their time. In a nutshell, our programs are based on children's interests and needs.

After School Care & Vacation Care

Our centre has developed strong relationships with St Patrick's Parish, Our Lady of Lourdes School and St Mary MacKillop Early Learning Centre. Prioritising creating a sense of community for the children under our care, we regularly participate in school, parish and local events. We also ensure that each family feels both supported and welcomed into our outside of school hours care facility. Communication and relationships with families are extremely important, and we value all parent input.

Between our fantastic staff, high quality of care and engaging environment, your children will flourish within the Ingham OSHC.

How long have you worked in early childhood and/or education and care?

I have worked in early childhood education for 14 years.

Why were you drawn to become an educator in early childhood/OSHC?

I was drawn to becoming an early childhood educator because I love working with children and watching them learn and grow. I believe that the first five years of children's lives are the most important. I also hold a firm belief that all children should have the opportunity to develop to their full potential in a safe, fun and welcoming environment.

What is your favourite thing about being a service leader/teacher (Director/Coordinator)?

My favourite thing about my position as a service leader is the people I work with, including the children. I love being able to get to know each of the families and working as part of an amazing team.

What is the best thing about your centre/kindergarten/OSHC?

The best thing about our centre is that we have a great team of caring educators and a beautiful, spacious outdoor environment for everyone to enjoy.

What is one thing that you tell all families?

The one thing that we make known with every family within our centre is that everyone is always welcome! Our centre prides itself on inclusivity.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

In my spare time I enjoy running, hiking and camping. I also enjoy spending my spare time with friends and family.
