St Anthony’s OSHC, Deeragun

St Anthony's OSHC is an out of school hours care facility, connected to the Padua junior St Anthony’s School. Built on a foundation of strong relationships, supportive care and community connection, St Anthony's OSHC has been a pillar of the Deeragun community for more than 25 years.

Delivering a child-voiced, creative and engaging learning environment, our out of school hours care centre is unique in that many of our educators have worked with the service for more than 20 years. This has provided the centre with familiar, reliable and supportive caring environment that is deeply embedded and connected with the surrounding area. The continuity of care, in combination with the fantastic community environment, leaves each child with a strong sense of belonging.

Continuity of Care in Deeragun

St Anthony's OSHC offers before school care, after school care and vacation care for children of those living and working in the Deeragun area. Our service program provides learning experiences based purely on each child’s interests – we prioritise creating an environment that is safe, engaging and celebratory of child’s individuality.

Our program supports not only the children, but also the surrounding families. The in-depth connection we foster with the Deeragun community has allowed our educators to create and maintain healthy relationships with continuity of care. We use the MTOP guidance materials to expand on children’s learning opportunities, basing each session on the children, their age, abilities, skills and interests. Encouraging both indoor and outdoor activities, our care facilitates both individual and group play.
