St. Benedict's Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is located within St. Benedict's Catholic School in Shaw, Townsville. Opened in 2018, St. Benedict's OSHC provides a large service, catering to Shaw's increasingly growing school community.

Offering an extension of the school day, our service delivers before school care, after school care and vacation care for busy families in the local community.

Opened in 2018, St. Benedict's OSHC strives to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children from Prep to Year Six. The before, after and vacation care offered by St Benedict's aims to meet the growing needs for care for our school community. The passionate and dedicated staff are committed to ensuring that each child enjoys fun, creative, and active activities under their supervision.

Before, After School & Vacation Care

Here at St. Benedict's OSHC, we provide daily activities ranging from arts and crafts to sporting and game activities. During vacation care, the children will participate in excursions into the local community and incursions within the school grounds. Catering to the needs of each child, our service offers a good balance of young and older staff, most of which have been with the school long term. We also ensure that each family feels both supported and welcomed into our outside of school hours care facility in Shaw.

Between our team of passionate, interactive educators, high quality of care and playful activities, your children will flourish under the care of St. Benedict's OSHC.
